*Please note I am not a veterinarian, and if your dog is on steroids they should not be stopped immediately, and you should consult your veterinarian on how to safely taper them off.
Steroids have been used since the 1940's to help both humans and dogs with inflammation in their body. Prednisone seems to be the go to steroid for dogs diagnosed with cancer to help with inflammation and to possibly slow down tumor growth.
If you do a search on the most common side-effects of steroid use, you will find excessive thirst, excessive urination, excessive hunger but not requiring more food, panting, vomiting and diarrhea. They are also well-known for weight gain, fluid retention, heart issues, liver problems, and more. If you are concerned about any of these issues for your dog, please contact your veterinarian.
Full Spectrum organic CBD (3rd party tested) is one option that can be effective for reducing your dog's inflammation and slowing down tumor growth.
